Conditions of Sale
These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our Products to you (our “Terms and Conditions”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they set out important information regarding the supply and purchase of our Products.
Advice when purchasing a medical device
Consumers should seek advice and assessment from a healthcare professional prior to purchasing any medical device to ensure suitability. Please refer to the instructions for use (IFU) prior to application, to ensure you fully understand how to use the product and whether there are any contraindications that would be detrimental to use.
Age Restrictions
Persons under the age of 18 should use this website only with supervision of an adult. Payment information must be provided by or with the permission of an adult.
Our Products
The images of the Products on the Website and those found within our literature are for illustrative purposes only. Your Product may vary slightly from those images.
The packaging of the Product may vary from that shown in images on our Website.
From time to time we may make minor changes to the Product:
a) to reflect changes in Applicable Laws and regulatory requirements including those as established by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency;
b) to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements.
We may make more significant changes to the Products and these Terms and Conditions. Where such changes are anticipated, we will contact you and let you know prior to processing your order.
Price
The Product price is inclusive of Value Added Tax or any similar tax and shall be charged at the rate in force as at the time of purchase. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the Product advised to you is correct.
Despite our best efforts, some of the Products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the Product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the Product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order.
If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the Product, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the Product in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
Payment
Payment for all Products must be made at the time of placing your order.
We accept payments by Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.
Order confirmation
Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and L&R Medical UK Ltd.
An order confirmation will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. Should you not receive your confirmation email within 48 hours of placing an order, then you should contact our Customer Services Team using one of the methods as stated above.
Remember to check your spam/junk email box, the email may be inadvertently directed there.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the Product. This might be because the Product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the Product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
We only sell to the UK. Our website is solely for the promotion of our products in the UK. Unfortunately, we do not accept orders from OR deliver to addresses outside of the UK.
Delivery
We aim to deliver your items within 7 Business Days via Royal Mail or via such other delivery service we may choose from time to time, and in any event within 30 Business Days after the day on which we accept your order.
The cost of delivery will be advised during checkout.
If our supply of the Products is delayed by any known event, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any Products you have paid for but not received.
All Products ordered by you will become your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you provided to us.
Title and ownership of the Products will pass to you once payment has been received in full.
If the Products are delivered after the delivery deadline you have legal rights that you may enforce. If a delivery deadline is missed for any Products then you may treat the contract as at an end, provided that any of the following apply;
a) we have refused to deliver the Products;
b) you told us before we accepted your order that delivery within the delivery deadline was essential.
If you do not wish to treat the contract as at an end straight away, we will specify a new deadline for delivery of the Products within 14 days from the previous deadline.
If you do choose to treat the contract as at an end for late delivery, you must cancel your order by contacting Customer Services using one of the methods as stated above and rejecting any Products delivered. After the Products have been returned and your cancellation has been acknowledged, we will arrange for any sums paid by you to be refunded.
Damage during delivery
If goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent upon delivery, you should report such damage to us within 14 days and arrange return of the damaged Products.
Upon receipt of the returned goods, you will be given the option to have the goods replaced (if stock is available) or to be refunded for the damaged Products.
L&R Medical UK Ltd. reserves the right to exercise discretion with respect to any returns under these Terms and Conditions. Factors which may be considered in the exercise of this discretion include, but are not limited to, any characteristics of the goods which may cause them to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
