ActiLymph® Compression Hosiery
Chosen for its effectiveness, appearance, comfort and fit ActiLymph® is designed to improve poor circulation and swelling in the legs or arms
ActiLymph® compression delivers the correct compression levels and fabric stiffness needed to treat and manage moderate to severe chronic swelling, lymphoedema and varicose veins in the legs or lymphatic conditions in your arm.
It conforms well to the limb, providing the correct support and comfort whilst managing limb swelling. ActiLymph® are latex free stockings and arm sleeves available in a variety of colours and styles.

Common questions
I would prefer to wear a thigh length stocking, is there a difference between knee or thigh length?
For most conditions a below knee is as effective as the longer thigh length and you can choose which compression is suitable for you. Many compression wearers find a below knee easier to put on and wear.
Some female patients may feel more at home with thigh high tights and suspenders. (The Activa® thigh high tights need suspenders, NHS versions are available). Swollen or arthritic knees tend to be more comfortable in thigh length hosiery. Thigh length is suitable for people with painful or protruding varicose veins at the back of the knee.
I have an allergy to latex, is Activa, ActiLymph and Adore compression latex free?
Activa, Adore and ActiLymph ‘off the shelf’ compression tights/socks are Latex free. The Dura compression tights/socks from our ActiLymph MTM range contains Latex.
What are the differences between Activa® (British Standard) and ActiLymph®/Adore® (European)?
Activa® compression socks, stockings and tights are designed to improve circulation in the legs. Graduated compression gently squeezes the leg, which pushes venous blood back towards the heart. Activa® compression socks and tights should be used when there is no swelling in the ankles or legs.

My compression socks or tights feels tight/uncomfortable to wear, is this normal?
When wearing compression you may feel a light ‘squeeze’ but they should never feel uncomfortable or painful to wear. This is likely to be an issue with the sizing of the garment. If you are experiencing any discomfort with your garment you should contact a healthcare professional as soon as possible.
